Abstract: Nowadays, with a favourable regulatory framework and increased awareness, we can confidently state that there is true institutional commitment gender equality. Scientific journals guarantee that the results of research and the major breakthroughs in all knowledge areas are published as articles regularly and relatively quickly. Journals are key factors in science, academic careers and scientific communication, and a play a central role in the important issue of ensuring gender equality.
