Abstract: This is a Zelda-like game, but based on the horror story 'The Shadow Over Innsmouth' by H.P. Lovecraft. The main character is a man who travels through New England at the beginning of the 20th century in search of his family roots. His curiosity leads him to the cursed village of Innsmouth. In the game, after the introduction, the player will have to chat with characters to understand the story and access the various screens. Finally, he will have to escape the village alive when the inhabitants discover that he knows "too much" about the curse and its dark secrets. The player must find a way to escape from the village by dodging enemies. To plan the game, a version on paper has been created - following the manga adaptation by Gou Tanabe, clearer than the story itself - to plan the work and distinguish how many different screens it has. To implement the game, Microsoft's Unity framework and c# programming language have been used. Inky was used for the dialogues. The programming of the game dynamics that make up the story and the way in which the enemies pursue the player have been found as challenges. The game is available for Windows.
