Title: Remigio Challenge

Abstract: This project documents the process of building and implementing the game "Remigio Challenge", a digital adaptation of the popular Spanish card game "Remigo". The objective is to allow the player to experience the game regardless of physical limitations and offering the possibility to modify the rules to accommodate for the different variations of the game that exist. The development of the project was carried out using C# as the main programming language along with the multimedia library SFML as the engine. As for the structuring of the process, the development was broken down into iterative cycles with each cycle building a new feature on top of the outcome of previous iterations. The first part consisted in getting the cards displayed on the board and from there the players, the rules, and some animations were added progressively. The end result is a fully playable game that recreates the feeling of playing Remigio on Windows machines. The 2D graphics and the simple effects used in the game make it a light game that runs well on computers with low specifications.
