Abstract: This final grade project is based on the development of an educational math video game called Space Math, from the Unity video game platform. The objective of the game is to solve math exercises with a spaceship that shoots at various enemy ships, similar to the space shooter genre of video games. Several studies have shown that video games have great benefits in education. This project is aimed at boys and girls in the first year of school. Learning mathematics has always generated many doubts and difficulties among students because they say that they are difficult to understand. The objective of the video game is to generate interest in this subject by facilitating the resolution and learning of the exercises entertainingly. As a result, it is expected to enhance learning capacity, stimulate memory, improve mathematical ability, and improve visual acuity, since this subject is essential for intellectual development and learning in children. This work includes all the details regarding its implementation. As well as all the phases and tasks for its development (design, production, and dissemination). If the proposed objectives are achieved, this video game can be applicable and adaptable for other types of ages and subjects in the different areas of Primary Education.
