Estudio cuantitativo del conocimiento del alumnado y docente sobre los Servicios Locales de Ocupación que ofrecen los ayuntamientos en la mejora de la inserción sociolaboral del alumnado de la formación profesional del Instituto Eugeni d’Ors de Badalona

Abstract

Se planteó como problema de investigación el que responde a la pregunta ¿cuál es el grado de conocimiento del alumnado y docentes de la FP sobre los SLO en la mejora de la inserción sociolaboral del alumnado del Institut Eugeni d’Ors de Badalona? La importancia de este estudio radica en que se ha investigado la temática de la «inserción sociolaboral» en agentes del contexto de la educación formal, pero, desde la mirada y procedimientos del contexto laboral de la psicopedagogía. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo «determinar si el grado de conocimiento del alumnado y docentes de la FP sobre los SLO que ofrecen los ayuntamientos incide en la mejora de la inserción sociolaboral del alumnado del Institut Eugeni d’Ors de Badalona». Este estudio sigue el modelo positivista y post-positivista, sobre la base de un diseño cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo, empleándose la metodología de encuesta a alumnado y docentes de la FP del Institut Eugeni d’Ors de Badalona. Se analizaron los datos a través de valores estadísticos como la moda y la media, además de la prueba t-Student, siendo los resultados más relevantes (en cuanto al conocimiento sobre los SLO) el hallazgo de que el alumnado no conoce qué son estos servicios y los docentes no conocen la tipología de personas que atienden los SLO; y el hecho de que tanto alumnado como docentes valoran como «bastante» la influencia de los SLO en la orientación sociolaboral (alumnado) y en la mejora de la enseñanza y acción tutorial de esa temática (docentes). Se concluye que para mejorar la inserción sociolaboral del alumnado, ambos colectivos deben mejorar el conocimiento sobre los SLO, su funcionamiento y sus servicios.

It was raised the research problem that wanted to answer the following question: what is the degree of knowledge of students and teachers of Professional Training (FP, by its acronym in Spanish) about Local Occupation Services (SLO, by its acronym in Spanish) in the improvement of the socio-labour insertion of the students of the Institut Eugeni d'Ors in Badalona? The importance of this study lies in the fact that «socio-labour insertion» has been investigated in agents in the context of formal education but from the perspective and procedures of the work context of psychopedagogy. This research aims to «determine whether the degree of knowledge of students and teachers about the SLOs offered by the municipalities affects the improvement of the socio-labour insertion of the students of the Institut Eugeni d'Ors in Badalona». This study follows the positivist and post-positivist model, based on a descriptive quantitative design. It uses the survey methodology for students and teachers of the FP of the Institut Eugeni d'Ors of Badalona. Data was analyzed through statistical values such as mode and mean, in addition to the t-Student test. The most relevant results (in terms of knowledge about SLOs) were that students do not know what these services are, the teachers do not know the type of people who attend the SLOs, and the fact that both students and teachers value as «quite» the influence of SLOs on socio-labour Guindance (students) and on improving teaching and tutorial action on this subject (teachers). It is concluded that to improve the socio-labour insertion of the students, both groups must improve their knowledge about the SLOs, the way they operate and their services.
