Abstract: This final degree thesis aims to develop an Autonomous Connected Irrigation System (SARC). Its purpose is to solve the problem of water waste through an economical and sustainable solution for the automated management of water in community gardens, public parks and other areas. The methodology used is based on Design Thinking, a user-centered approach that uses creativity and collaboration to develop innovative solutions to problems. An information search is carried out and users are consulted to identify their needs and demands. Then the product requirements are defined and the main objectives are established. An algorithm has been developed and the Arduino board and mobile application are programmed for data transmission and system control. Sensors are implemented to measure temperature, ambient humidity, soil moisture and brightness and activate the solenoid valve if the weather conditions allow it. The results of the work include the successful implementation of the autonomous connected irrigation system, with the ability to precisely measure and control sensor values and the ability to modify them through the mobile application. In conclusion, this final degree thesis presents an autonomous connected irrigation system that addresses the problem of water wastage through a sustainable and economical solution. Using the Design Thinking method, a product has been successfully developed that meets the stated objectives and has a positive impact on sustainability, social ethics and diversity.
