Title: Investigadores en el camp de la comunicació a Espanya. Anàlisi de la publicació Anàlisi: quaderns de comunicació i cultura (1980-2022)

Abstract: This bachelor's thesis consists of a gender-based research in the field of communication in Spain. The object of study is positioned by an introduction to the context and conceptual framework, to continue with an analyse of the presence of Spanish researchers in the field of communication through the study of the articles published in the scientific journal Anàlisi: quaderns de comunicació i cultura from its first year, in 1980, until 2022. A theoretical qualitative research has been conducted, focusing on a bibliographic and documentary review in order to identify the status of the issue of women's participation in communication studies throughout history and particularly in Spain. Secondly, empirical research has been conducted with a quantitative approach, though the analysis of Spain's oldest active communication journal, indexed in major scientific databases, such as Scopus. As a result of this research, it has been confirmed the difficulty for women to find their space in academic research in communication in the past, as well as the upward trend in their participation in research the analysed publication.
