Title: La hibridez como forma de organizar el trabajo, ¿puede aportar por sí sola mayor satisfacción laboral?

Abstract: Advancement in ICT and new ways of organizing work (NFOT) have led to new models within organizations that, in addition, after the 2020 pandemic, have been enhanced both in their use and in their study. The relationship of the hybrid model to job satisfaction has been studied, and is often attributed a flattering role in employee well-being. It will be interesting to know if hybridity really impacts satisfaction, or if these other factors modulate that relationship. This study is based on the review of 9 articles extracted from the scientific literature on teleworking and job satisfaction. In addition, the Job Satisfaction Scale (Warr, Cook and Wall, 1979) is applied to a sample of 37 subjects from the same organization, in which the in-person model coexists with the hybrid. Results are found that relate three aspects of the hybrid model to satisfaction: work conditions (the way and intensity in which it is applied will affect the perception of job satisfaction, with better results being those that most apply it), quality of life (the possibility of working remotely improves reconciliation and reduces stress levels) and relational aspects of work (social support positively affects job satisfaction). And with the survey, it is found that the hybrid work model does not necessarily imply higher levels of satisfaction; this is where it is considered whether intrinsic and extrinsic factors regulate the relationship between both variables. It is concluded that hybridity positively influences job satisfaction, but not as a single element. The impact of both extrinsic factors (such as how to organize and apply the model, or the effect on social relationships among employees) and intrinsic factors (such as the perception of loss of career growth opportunities) will be important.
