Title: La rotación laboral en Andalucía: Causas y percepciones del abandono del puesto de trabajo
Author: Córdoba Vaquero, José Luis
Tutor: Sanchez-Gomez, Martin
Abstract: The general objective of this project arises from the desire to understand why the region of Andalusia has the highest Labor Turnover Index in all of Spain. Following the Randstad report, the most common cause is the voluntary abandonment of the job for other offers with better working conditions. This is where our research question arises: why does voluntary job abandonment occur? And in an attempt to investigate the causes of this decision, we find a review of the literature that covers the theoretical-analytical foundations of the study of human behavior within organizations to the most current bibliographic records on the subject of study. Through a qualitative analysis, whose main tool has been the in-depth interview, we have learned about some of the causes that have led to this decision. The main reason is poor practices of working conditions, where the workload is very high and the degree of reconciliation between work and personal life was null, which has led employees to prefer a lower salary in exchange for better working conditions.
