Author: Sevilla Rivilla, Antonio

Abstract: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, urgent measures were sought to not interrupt education, as it is considered a pillar of sustainability and the future of society (Gonçalves, 2020). In this context, the reforms proposed comprehensive changes in the way of imparting knowledge and learning supported by information and communication technologies (ICT). Faced with such a situation, this paper aims to approach the teachers' perception of the psychosocial factors that affected them after the implementation of telematic teaching. The Focus Group methodology has been used with a sample of 32 teachers from five primary schools in the province of Valencia. Argument was generated among the participants on issues related to psychosocial risks derived from remote teaching, the modulating role of educational management and mastery and training in digital skills. The results show a greater workload for teachers because they adapt to the availability of families. The teaching team points out the impossibility of reaching all the students due to lack of resources as the main reason for demotivation and they recognize that they did not have the necessary digital skills at the beginning of the confinement. They also indicate that the public administration did not provide solutions to any of these problems. On the other hand, the center's Management has developed a fundamental role as a source of motivation and commitment through clear guidelines and fluid communication. As a conclusion, the confinement was a period of appearance of psychosocial factors in teachers when adapting to a new methodology without the necessary resources and tools. Another interesting aspect has been the modulating role of training in digital skills by teachers and the leadership of management teams.
