Abstract: | The main objective of this Bachelor’s Degree Final Project is the design and development of a mobile application to unlock creativity through drawing and play. An exhaustive study has been carried out on the different techniques that can be used to awaken and evaluate creativity, what the role of drawing is in the creative process, and how gamification and the use of mobile technology can help in this process. For the development of the application, a methodology based on usercentered design and heuristic evaluation has been used. Qualitative and quantitative research has been conducted to gather information about users’ needs and desires regarding creativity and the use of gamified mobile applications. The developed mobile application features a simple interface and a game ecosystem that allows users to explore their creativity through different drawing challenges while sharing their ideas with a digital community. Usability and satisfaction test results indicate that the application is effective in unlocking creativity and is attractive and enjoyable for users. |
