Abstract: | Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder conditioning neurovariability characterized by diminished social interaction with deficiency in the development of communication through verbal and non-verbal language and inflexibility in behavior by presenting repetitive behaviors and restricted interests and encompasses numerous symptoms, including difficulties managing the changes of puberty, problems with socialization, managing emotions, and understanding (American Psychiatric Association. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 2013). For this, a systematic analysis of information will be carried out, extracting the most relevant ideas from different studies and final thesis work. Finally, in the present work a line of sexual affective intervention and emotional management is proposed. People with this condition, in this case with ASD, must access sexual education to find a balance between the sexual rights of the individual and the social norms of the community in which they live, avoiding confusion or rejection due to ignorance of the subject. |
