Author: | Martín Carrasquilla, Daniel |

Abstract: | This Final Degree Project investigates the impact of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the work environment, both in companies and in workers. For the development of this work, the existing literature has been consulted, which supports the development of the theoretical framework while the empirical work has been designed to try to refute the thesis and data obtained in the theoretical framework. The use of AI is spreading globally. One of the main areas where this increase is being experienced is in business. AI is a new technology that helps the execution of tasks improving productivity thanks to the speed and accuracy of execution. This poses new scenarios and challenges to which both companies and workers must know how to respond. On this theoretical basis, relevant data and information are obtained on the advantages and risks for companies of the use of AI, and for workers, especially women, since this is the part of the population most directly affected by the use of AI, largely due to the type of work performed by a significant percentage of them. Finally, the empirical work is based on a quantitative part (survey of 382 people) and a qualitative part by interviewing two AI experts. |
