Title: Seguridad urbana conectada. Desarrollo de aplicación para la seguridad y emergencias en vía pública
Author: Quiros Villalobos, Gabriel

Abstract: This work addresses the growing concern for personal safety and hazard prevention in public spaces within contemporary society. Acknowledging the lack of a comprehensive solution, a mobile application was developed to enable users to mark and receive real-time alerts about dangerous areas. The application incorporates a panic button for swiftly notifying preestablished contacts during emergency situations, prioritizing user safety while navigating their surroundings. Accessibility is a primary focus, with features specifically designed for users with disabilities, fostering equity in access to urban safety. Future plans for the application involve expansion, including sound activation and efficient search functions. Additionally, the consideration of providing valuable information for travelers, technical support, and an introductory guide adds depth to the application's potential impact.
