Càmpings eco-tecnològics a Catalunya: Estudi de casos dels establiments “Camping La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava” i “Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou"

Abstract

Aquest projecte de recerca es centra en dur a terme un anàlisi de com la modernització dels càmpings ha influït en la promoció de la sostenibilitat en aquest tipus d’establiments turístics. S’investiga com la inclusió de les noves tecnologies ha permès contribuir a la millora de la seva activitat i, al mateix temps, reduir el seu impacte ambiental a la destinació. L’anàlisi es fonamenta en base a una comparativa detallada entre dos establiments destacats de la regió: un ubicat a la Costa Daurada i un altre a la Costa Brava. El propòsit del treball es determinar com aquesta modernització tecnològica i com les pràctiques sostenibles es relacionen en el context dels càmpings basant-nos en dos casos concrets que permetrà comprendre com tots dos factors contribueixen al desenvolupament sostenible del sector. Per dur a terme aquest anàlisis comparatiu, s’utilitzarà un enfocament concret que involucra la avaluació detallada d’aspectes com les infraestructures i serveis oferts per ambos càmpings, l’ús de noves tecnologies i tecnologies verdes, la gestió dels residus i estratègies per la reducció de l’impacte de la seva activitat.

This research project focuses on carrying out an analysis of how the modernization of campsites has influenced the promotion of sustainability in this type of tourism. Research is being carried out on how the inclusion of new technologies has allowed them to contribute to the improvement of their activity and, at the same time, reduce their environmental impact in the destination. The analysis is based on a detailed comparison between two outstanding establishments in the region: one located on the Costa Dorada and the other on the Costa Brava. The purpose of the research is to determine how this technological modernization and how sustainable practices are related in the context of campsites based on two specific cases that will allow to understand how both factors contribute to the sustainable development of the sector. To conduct this comparative, a concrete approach will be used that involves the detailed evaluation of aspects such as the infrastructures and services offered by both campsites, the use of new technologies and green technologies, waste management and strategies for reducing the impact of its activity.
