Abstract: Measuring the biological activity of a compound or preparation is one of the main objectives when performing a bioassay, especially within the area of pharmacology. The most widely used approach to the determination of biological potency is the application of the parallel-line model. In this text, a solution is developed for the calculation of potency by applying the parallel-line model. In addition, within bioassays, a case of special attention are immunoassays. This type of assay generates wide dose-response curves, with sigmoidal appearance, that do not comply with a linear fit, which is a necessary requirement to use the proposed model. The proposed solution has been specially designed for the case of immunoassay data in which, previously, it will be necessary to define a working range, within the dose-response curve, that fits a linear model. This paper aims to provide a complete solution for the analysis of immunoassay data. In this way, not only the data analysis phase itself has been taken into account, but the entire process as a whole. A sequential analysis is proposed, ranging from the design of a format for the input of the data obtained in the assay. Followed by the analysis itself, which is made up of both the development of a R library and a script in RMarkdown. The latter will also be used to generate a final report where the results obtained can be easily observed and interpreted.
