Abstract: This project is focused on Smart Cities environment and how technology could provide efficient and sustainable solutions to the needs of individuals and businesses in the field of office buildings. The project’s objectives aim to analyze and propose applicable technologies in building automation for offices. On one hand, this involves enabling the automatic management of office automation systems geared towards office space utilization (workseats, collaborative spaces and meeting rooms). On the other hand, it aims to promote the efficient and sustainable use of energy resources (space, climate, lightning, etc.) An analysis will be delivered specifically tailored to an office building with 9.000 sqm located in Madrid, including the design of devices (controllers, sensors and actuators), protocols and topology of automation telecommunication networks, as well as the management and control platform.
