Title: | FORTALECIENDO LA RESILIENCIA CONTRA RANSOMWARE MEDIANTE ESTRATEGIAS DE BACKUP OPTIMIZADAS CON BACULA |
Author: | Ares Robledo, Fernando |
Tutor: | Páez Reyes, Rafael |
Abstract: | The present project focuses on strengthening resilience against ransomware through the implementation and optimization of backup strategies with Bacula. The capabilities and optimal configurations of Bacula are analyzed, implementing a test environment that includes various operating systems and databases, and developing a best practices guide for its use. Various backup strategies, such as 3-2-1 and GFS, were evaluated, demonstrating their effectiveness in protecting critical data. The results indicate that Bacula is a viable and efficient solution, providing high redundancy and security, and optimizing resource usage during backup and restoration processes. |
