Els cobots i la condició humana arendtiana: condicions de possibilitat per a la generació d’associacions afirmatives entre cobots i humans

Abstract

Aquest assaig és una anàlisi filosòfica de les condicions de possibilitat per a la generació d’associacions afirmatives entre cobots i humans. L’estudi parteix de la conceptualització que Arendt fa dels éssers humans en el seu llibre La condició humana (2022) i, més concretament de les tres activitats fonamentals, labor, treball i acció, que constitueixen, segons l’autora, la vita activa. La metodologia utilitzada en aquest estudi segueix els procediments de la filosofia acadèmica, que inclouen la formulació de preguntes precises, l'anàlisi conceptual, i una revisió exhaustiva de la literatura existent. Mitjançant una argumentació racional i un diàleg crític, es proposaran respostes a les preguntes de recerca plantejades. La pregunta principal de recerca és si poden obrir els cobots una via de superació de la condició humana arendtiana, facilitadora de la construcció d’una nova subjectivitat que ens permeti l’associació afirmativa amb els múltiples altres. A fi de donar una resposta més exhaustiva i sistemàtica a aquesta pregunta, hem dividit l’estudi en tres parts. En el primer capítol s’analitzen les condicions de possibilitat d’acció i participació en l’espai públic dels cobots. Tot seguit, en el segon capítol, es consideren les activitats de labor i treball, i com es veuen afectades per l’aparició dels cobots. Un cop abordades les qüestions anteriors, en el tercer capítol, es plantegen els desafiaments ètics i polítics de la col·laboració entre cobots i humans. El treball conclou amb algunes reflexions sobre les condicions de possibilitat per a la creació de vincles positius entre humans i cobots que ens orientin cap a un món comú en el qual la nostra realitat humana no se separi del món en el qual vivim i de les interaccions que mantenim amb els altres.

This essay is a philosophical analysis of the conditions of possibility for the generation of affirmative associations between cobots and humans. The study starts from Arendt's conceptualization of human beings in her book The human condition (2022) and, more specifically, from the three fundamental activities, labor, work, and action, which constitute, according to the author, vita activa. The methodology used in this study follows the procedures of academic philosophy, which include the formulation of precise questions, conceptual analysis, and a comprehensive review of existing literature. Through rational argumentation and critical dialogue, answers to the research questions raised will be proposed. The main research question is whether cobots can open a way to overcome the Arendtian human condition, facilitating the construction of a new subjectivity that allows us affirmative association with the many others. In order to give a more comprehensive and systematic answer to this question, we have divided the study into three parts. The first chapter analyzes the conditions for the possibility of action and participation in the public space of cobots. Then, in the second chapter, work and work activities are considered, and how they are affected by the appearance of cobots. Once the previous questions have been addressed, in the third chapter, the ethical and political challenges of collaboration between cobots and humans are raised. The work concludes with some reflections on the conditions of possibility for the creation of positive links between humans and cobots that guide us towards a common world in which our human reality is not separated from the world in which we live and the interactions that we maintain with others.
