Abstract: The incidence of diseases that could be prevented through vaccination is related to the number of children that have not been vaccinated. Parents who will not vaccinate their children frequently express their concern about the safety of vaccines. The Internet could be having an influence on their perception about the safety of vaccines since it is a growing source of information on health-related issues. However, few studies have analyzed the possible influence that webs promulgating non-vaccination are having on parents. The aim of this paper is to analyze webs that offer anti-vaccination contents in Catalan and Spanish found via Google or Bing. The present paper provides the analysis of 16 webs found in these languages that meet the variables established as "anti-vaccination" in studies carried out in other languages and territories: all these webs published in Catalan and Spanish fiercely criticize vaccination. Given the relevance of this matter, it is advisable that the same line of investigation is looked into -using other search equations- in more depth.
