Title: El cambio climático y el derecho internacional, setiembre 2008
Author: Sánchez Sánchez, Víctor M.
Abstract: Climate protection has been regulated internationally through two extensive treaties promoted by the UN: the Convention on Climatic Change (1992) and the Kyoto Protocol (1997). What is the institutional framework that promotes worldwide reaction in favour of climate protection? What international duties have states assumed with this aim in mind? How does it affect developed and developing countries? This course attempts to introduce anyone interested in the issues of our time to key political and legal questions for understanding the international action needed to face the problem of climate change.
