Abstract: In a distance education context with virtual users, training in the use of the services and resources of a university library requires an adaptation of the ways services are traditionally offered from on-site libraries to the new environment with new and innovative methods. To this effect, the UOC Library has developed new means of communication and new formats to disseminate services and train our users in their use. The common characteristic of the majority of these is that of being 'distance learning' conducted through a 'Virtual Campus'. A wide range of options will be analyzed in this paper as well as the problems and advantages of the various training methods carried out by university libraries in virtual environments.
