Abstract: During 2007 and 2008 there was a panic about media violence mediated by video recorded and broadcast via mobile phones and the Internet. Regardless panics were justified or not, the fact is that digital photography and video is changing some of the practices of violence among adolescents, and this article suggests some of the keys to understand how young people are creating the rules in their daily life to regulate the changes. This research was funded by the Youth Observatory of Catalonia and was made during 2008/09 by Roger Martinez and Miguel Fernandez, of the Open University of Catalonia.
