Abstract:	This study is about conceptual metaphors and their use in catalan expressions of emotions and feelings. This paper is the analysis and research of Catalan idioms of emotions. The theory is based on the linguistic cognitive study by Lakoff and Johnson, about conceptual metaphors. This study is related with Catalan expressions that we usually use in Catalan language.
