Abstract: The current document is the report for the end of degree project in the embedded systems area. The application context is in the automobile industry, centered in motorcycles. Firstly, we will design and implement an active security system, with the goal of detecting vehicles situated in the blind spots. Then we will get into driving assistance features, which include the study about the viability of constructing a fuel consumption indicator, as well as a visual cue to aid in recognizing the optimum shifting points based on a set of criteria.
