Abstract: | This research analyzes how Spanish TV companies are developing their strategies to exploit new digital content delivery platforms. More specifically, the study examines three models: RTVE.es (sort of public TV), Atresplayer (sort of private TV) and Movistar+ Yomvi (sort of pay TV). These models play a relevant role in the digital transformation in Spain. In addition, they are the platforms that have grown most in recent years in Spain. Therefore, this research tries to define the strengths of these models, their distribution strategies and their organization and management systems. Thus we can build a optimum management model which can be used as a standard for all TV companies in Spain. |
