Title: Adolescencia y violencia de género : Cuando el "amor" oculta el maltrato
Author: Escusol Saludas, Araceli

Abstract: According to statistical data provided by different official sources, there has been a significant increase in cases of gender-based violence among adolescents between 14 and 17 years of age by their partners or ex-partners and that they are not aware that they are victims . Thanks to the campaigns, workshops and briefings against gender violence, they know the concept, but often do not identify or detect these attitudes of inequality in relationships, and everything that is not detected can be or is tolerated . Conducting a quantitative and qualitative pilot study on a sample of ESO students in St. Fost de Campsentelles (Barcelona), will provide guidance on the knowledge and tolerance of different behaviors among adolescents and what attitudes are considered by them as mistreatment.
