Abstract: The term epic is often defined regarding to literature. According to The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Literary, applies to a long narrative poem celebrating the great deeds of one or more legendary heroes, in a grand ceremonious style. The hero, usually protected by or even descended from gods, performs superhuman exploits in battle or in marvellous voyages, often saving or founding a nation. The research topic is the transformation of the epic hero in epic narrative through a key question: What are the differences and the continuity background between heroic figures chosen and how their mentality has changed?
