Abstract: The Open Hardware concept is applied to those electronic devices that manufacturers have released to the public, their schemes and their technical specifications. This working philosophy has its best example with Arduino boards. Consequently, many manufacturers have sold all kinds of sensors designed specifically for those devices and at very reasonable prices. The aim of this Final Project was to design new sensors, all of them manufactured with active and passive electronic components and mechanical parts, create their own libraries in C language and their implementation on a system based on Arduino. In addition, the behaviour of new designs have been analysed and compared with existing sensors on the market. Thus, once the project has been realized, it becomes a system capable of register values of different magnitudes (relative humidity, temperature and wind speed) and store the data in a grid and as graphics on a website for a statistical study of these magnitudes in different periods of time.
