Abstract: Sustainability information is increasingly having more relevance in annual reports of hospitality companies. This paper investigates the relationship between the communication of Corporate Social Responsibility to stakeholders, the gathering and processing of data contained in sustainability reports, and the technologies that allow the automation of sustainability indicators. In order to contextualize the findings, a tool to measure the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility applied to the real case of Meliá Hotels International was designed. Meliá Hotels International is a Spanish leading hotel company with a portfolio of 375 hotels worldwide. The scope of this work was limited to obtain the carbon footprint (environmental impact) and social cash flow (socio-economic impact) through a dashboard, thus Meliá Hotels International management could quantify the impact and the specific initiatives undertaken by the company.
