Abstract: This document shows a method for simulating patch antennas and arrays of them. First, a theoretical study of these types of antennas is conducted to determine the main features that will determine the design, such as the thickness of the patch and the position of the feeding column. In addition, the main characteristics of antenna arrays have been analyzed to be able to evaluate the results obtained correctly, in this case, the main parameter is the separation between patches.
