Abstract: | The Bloque Nacionalista Galego (BNG) is one of the most recognised parties at the Galician self-government system. Born at 1982 as a result of the union of left-wing nacionalist parties, its growth was interrumpted on 21th century and also after that, as a consequence of its failure on managing the Galician government, helped by a coalition with socialists (PSdeG). Since then, the BNG was involved in a gradient breakdown noticeable because of its loss of votes and members, and increased by its singular structure, factionalism and changes in party system. |
