Abstract: The production and communication of images, from photographs to digital illustrations, is benefiting from the possibilities brought by new technologies and the Internet. As the rate of production and publication increases, also does the challenges associated to their visualization and management. There are many subjects and situations where analytical tools are the key to success. For instance, in art studies for gaining knowledge on an author or artistic movements, discovering colour trends in marketing campaigns, gathering data for academic essays or for discovering production and colour patterns in photographic collections. All these considered, the present undergraduate thesis was committed to develop a little tool that would focus on the visual analysis of image sets to discover colour and production patters and meanings. Such tool is specially thought for those interested in gaining knowledge on image colour and production trends and styles, as well as an author's mark and timeline of production.
