Abstract: We live in a world in constant evolution that engages all people, regardless of the body to which they belong, to continue training throughout life and how could it be otherwise, the faculty, and in particular the of Primary Education, is not exempt from this training need. However, certain difficulties have been noted so that part of their staff, such as interim personnel, access the teacher training courses, so that, in order to find possible solutions that could make it possible to correct this limitation, it will be deepened in the topic of virtual learning communities, analyzing what they are, what previous studies have been done about them and what could be the advantages of their application in the proposed context, since, as we have said in the previous paragraph, they are occurring abrupt changes in society that require a response. To this end, a review of the existing bibliography on virtual learning communities will be carried out in order to document the suitability of the same to solve the problem, as well as to try to find out other possible applications in which it would be feasible to use a virtual learning community. Of course, the purpose of this study is also to reflect on how these communities could contribute to the formation of teachers in Primary Education in order to alleviate the effects of Law 30/2015, of September 9.
