Title: | Com s'ha d'explicar als nens el que passa al món? Estudi del periodisme informatiu dirigit al públic infantil |
Author: | Torres Salvador, Elena |

Abstract: | This dissertation is developed with the absolute certainty that children should be informed of what is happening in our society. Based on this premise, the research focuses on journalism made for children, to identify how journalists should treat information aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 12, and to determine the characteristics that a kid-friendly news source must have. Starting from a review of the basic concepts related to journalism, this study examines the role of the journalist as an information sender to children as well as the characteristics of the child as a receiver and the impact -both positive and negative- that news could have on them. The study is complemented with an analysis of some children's information sources and media produced in Catalonia, Spain and Europe. |
