Title: La valoración policial del nivel de riesgo de violencia de género

Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe the methodology used in conducting police assessments of the level of risk of women becoming victims of gender-based violence again, the main purpose of which will be to adopt sufficient police measures for the protection and prevention of further violence. Assessing a risk is to estimate the possibility of something happening in the future and this is not an easy task, especially when it comes to predicting and anticipating acts of violence in the domestic sphere, which are causing in our society that 1 out of every 2 women killed by acts of violence (aggression) in general are from gender violence.
