Abstract: | This project is about a mobile game application, the goal of which is to visit the most cultural places of a city in an entertaining way. When you open the mobile application, you will see a map with different points on it. When you visit one of these points, your mobile, because of your geo-localization, detects that you are next to it, and it will show you an elf on the screen. This elf will present you with information about the place you are visiting. In addition to this, it will add points to your account for having visited this place. There is a ranking on each city, so the more places have you visited, the more points you have in your account and the higher up you will be in the list. The sightseeing information for the cities is given by Open Data. I will use an open database that has the main information on the cultural places of a city, such as a description of the place and its position in the world (latitude and longitude). Because of the complexity of the project, I will focus on Barcelona city. |
