Abstract: Create a Business Intelligence (BI) environment that enables the analysis of the information generated during an experiment that aims to verify the effectiveness of different treatments that aim to reduce cholesterol levels. The information will be analyzed in the form of cubes of data which will allow a much more careful analysis and the extraction of much more elaborate conclusions. For the development of the project, a methodology will be used for the development of Business Intelligence projects that facilitate analysis, design and implementation of the solution. Pentaho is used as a Business Intelligence solution for the creation of ETL processes, the generation of cubes and the creation of the scorecard. The final result is the implementation of a Business Intelligence system that facilitates the acquisition, storage and exploitation of data associated with patients who have been diagnosed with cholesterol levels, allowing users to check the effectiveness of treatments and perform filters by geographical area and eating habits among others.
