Abstract: The purpose of this work is to analyze the situation of an online store in order to be able to define a solution that allows to improve the quality of its current Information System. We choose a company called Akumia, an e-commerce that sales bathroom equipment. The company uses an open source content management system that allows them to manage the basic operations, but that involves carrying out many other tasks manually, which means a great cost in time and in resources, and that they put in risk the continuity of the business. By analyzing the current situation, its deficiencies and the needs of the customer, two objectives will be defined, focused, above all, in the automation of processes. From this study, the most appropriate solution will be defined to achieve the objectives set by the client, as well as a proposal of the steps that should be followed for the implementation of the chosen solution, the economic cost of its execution and a temporary programming of all the activities that must be carried out. With this solution it is intended that Akumia can improve its Information System and this allows it to ensure its viability.
