Abstract: Cancer is a major health problem due to its incidence and mortality. To treat cancer we find different types of treatment, but in our review we will focus on chemotherapy. Nutritional disorders are common in cancer patients, and are affected by the evolution of the tumor itself, the treatment received and the situation baseline of the patient. On nutritional disorders we focus on the triggered by micronutrients deficiencies by the administration of chemotherapy. A search was made for studies that took into account the impact of chemotherapy on the status of micronutrients and met the inclusion criteria. Seven studies met the criteria and were included in the review. Despite the inequality of studies found, deficiencies of some micronutrients such as vitamin D, vitamin B12 or some antioxidants are observed, such as selenium, related to the administration of chemotherapeutic drugs; although no significant deficiencies have been reported. Additional studies are needed to asses whether micronutrient levels are related to treatment alone or are also affected by the course of the disease.
