Title: Influencia de la alimentación en la enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal
Author: Sevilla Cáceres, Laura
Tutor: Kaliman, Perla
Abstract: Inflammatory bowel disease is composed of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and indeterminate colitis. These are inflammatory processes, of partially known etiology, with chronic and recurrent clinical course and with priority affectation of the digestive tract. Diet plays an important role in the modulation of inflammation, with the regulation of the intestinal microbiota as one of its main mechanisms of action. This microbiota is altered in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
