Title: Arte en acción: I convención de Arte + Educación en la ciudad de Oviedo
Author: Parravicini Nardi, Adria
Tutor: Castejón Ibáñez, María Magdalena
Abstract: Art in Action is a cultural project on transdisciplinary art education that aims to combat the existing separation between Art and Education, a problem that hinders the exercise of the right to enjoy the arts, as cited in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Article 27.1: "Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits" (UN General Assembly, 1948)). The proposal has the function of a meta-project as it is formally structured as a Convention on Art and Education which articulates, joins and coordinates different types of activities and lines of action, covering all those theoretical and practical aspects necessary to address the problem it aims to solve and meet the proposed objectives. The project covers three mutually permeable areas: the sociocultural, through an artistic program with art performances, a concert and an exhibition; the educational, through workshops; and the research-academic, with a seminar and round table discussions, and the subsequent publication of the results of the research.
