Abstract: Salvador Espriu (1913-1985) has gone down in history as one of the great authors of Catalan literature. His literary output during his early years of creation was more focused on narrative. Later, he devoted himself to theater and especially poetry, in order to avoid Franco's censorship and as a result of the tendency to hybridize genres. Espriu has left us a legacy of incalculable value. In these pages I try to study the eroticism hidden by the female characters in the narratives she wrote between 1932 and 1938, the year from which her narrative evolved into poetic prose. The woman appears in almost all of Espriu's initial narrative linked to responsibilities and guilt. In the initial narratives I will find love for the plot of the stories, although I will see that in the relationships there will always be some element that will make it difficult to fulfill the desire. In later works, I will find characters in which Espriu developed his theory of love. Therefore, through these pages, I will see how Salvador Espriu approaches the subject of man as an object of desire, in different ways.
