Title: El uso de las redes sociales en el Ciclo Superior de Educación Primaria

Abstract: It is becoming increasingly common for students to use social networks among family and friends, making the use of these tools very appealing to students. Based on this fact, it is considered interesting to explore the possibilities that we as teachers have to make use of the social network as a teaching tool. In this way, we ensure that students become familiar and have a first contact with a social network for learning, based on the proper use and the good practice of technologies. The main objective of this project is to investigate the different possibilities available for teachers to use social networks as a teaching tool in the higher cycle of Primary Education, in order to increase the quality of the teaching and learning process. Thanks to this project, we will be able to go deeper into the concept of "social network", see the different types of educational social tools that teachers have at their disposal, how to apply them to our teaching work and what benefits they bring to students learning, as well as the risks to be taken into account.
