Abstract: | Twitter is the political network by excellence, few communication spaces configure the discussion of ideas and the search for reason like the social network of the celestial bird, but, its disposition also lends itself to deception, this if you have the economic resources and tools to try to intervene in public opinion. A practice mainly linked to traditional politics, but which today, with the arrival of social networks, is becoming more and more common, sometimes so well executed that it manages to become something normal. This project is an analysis of the strategy implemented by the president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno in the social network Twitter, it is based on the use of trolls to influence conversation and public perception, the study collected a universe of more than five thousand responses to the tweets posted by the president during ten days, by more than a thousand authors, through a series of previously defined parameters it was possible to identify the "users" that were part of the aforementioned strategy, the construction of their messages and the relationship established between them. Finally, it was sought to measure the effectiveness of the strategy at least superficially and its capacity to be replicated in other spaces and actors. |
