Title: Satisfacción laboral: equilibrio entre esfuerzo y recompensa
Author: Barreras Arróspide, Claudia
Tutor: Pons Verdú, Fernando José
Abstract: When the reward is greater than the effort made, job satisfaction increases. This study has been focused on the measure of relationships and the way of seeing the effort and perceived rewards in job satisfaction. For this reason, a quantitative analysis based on the Siegrist Reward-Reward imbalance model has been used, with data through a questionnaire to measure these variables and observe their prediction capacity. It has been confirmed that reward is a key factor in terms of satisfaction in contrast to effort that has not been a determining factor in measuring job satisfaction. The reward has been the key item when explaining variations in dependent variable. Once this variable was introduced at the model, the coefficient of determination: R squared has increased. The reward explains 40% of the variations in employee satisfaction. The most important components of the reward have been the employee's participation in the company and the retributive system.
