Title: Ciència oberta i humanitats digitals: una aproximació des de l'arqueologia catalana
Author: Tomàs Valldepérez, Laura
Tutor: López-Borrull, Alexandre
Abstract: This paper analyzes the current situation of catalan archeology in relation to open science and digital humanities. The technique of the bibliographic review, the observational analysis of web pages and the in-depth interview are used. The objective is to evaluate the perceptions, actions and strategies developed so far, from the perspective of three agents involved: the university libraries, the CERCA centers of archeology and the researchers. It has also been tried to identify international benchmarks of good practices that could be implemented in the immediate future and that would allow to face the challenges and opportunities of the new digital paradigm of science. The results highlight strong points such as the volume of articles published in open access, the intensive use of virtualization techniques or the existence of the digital platform Calaix. But also weak points regarding the management of research data, the legislation or the processes of citizen participation in catalan archaeological projects.
