Abstract: The aim of the project is the development of a quadruped robot with wireless control through WIFI connection. The system is based on the embedded system MSP432 produced by Texas Instruments, which is improved with connectivity through the expansion board CC3100 built by the same company, additionally there are different sensors included to acquire relevant data from the environment. The final product includes a physical structure with four legs with three degrees of freedom each, which by parameterization of the relative positions of the servomotors, it can move in various defined configurations. Through an Android application for mobile devices, the user has the possibility to choose among various operating modes or perform manual control, while viewing the parameters of the sensors incorporated in the robot. Development has followed a project methodology in order to split the different single tasks into concrete and fully documented phases, with temporary and risk evaluation The result has been a fully functional prototype that meets the design specifications.
