Abstract: The aim of this research based on self-ethnography is to give answer to questions that include drug addiction considering motherhood and gender. We start from articles and data analyzed and contrasted so we can analyze and provide a critical view of the service provided to these women that encompasses the stigmas and prejudices that many of them face. For all this, I'm relying on my experience working with people in a situation of drug addiction and from the participant observation that I have been able to perform, as well as formal interviews with 4 professionals from the medical and psycho-social sectors. The results of the trial could help to improve the relationship of trust between pregnant women and the professionals take care of them (gynecologists, midwives, psychiatrists, psychologists, social educators, etc.).
