Abstract: The general objective of this work is to study the impact of the aging of society on companies, current and future, the type of economy towards which we will move and the main challenges we will face in the plan. intergenerational. On the other hand, the specific goal is to try to show that growing up is not a reason to dismiss people's workforce, when they exceed the age of 50, in order to spur companies to reconsider. how to structure your organization. Because the aging of the population in advanced societies is a silent and unstoppable phenomenon that will undoubtedly have an effect on macroeconomic and financial variables. But not only that, aging will have a much broader and cross-cutting impact that will shape the type of society we live in and pose a series of inexcusable economic and social challenges. The methodology used to carry out this work is based on an exhaustive documentary and statistical review and analysis, contrasting theories, some that play in favor of the work done by the elderly and others that go against it. To achieve the specific objective, quantitative techniques have been used focused on questionnaires aimed at informants of different types, with different occupations, and different levels of education, although always with ages between 50 and 62 years.
